Still Made In America

Short film documentary about America's oldest running manufacturing facility.

Filmed in 2015 after Cone Denim had recovered a late 1800's safe that had not been opened in any of the current management's history. No one knew for sure what was going to be in it, if anything. This film was going to be about the opening of the safe, but it needed to be more than that, anticipating nothing being inside, the project still needed meaning and to be compelling.

We had to look no further than the rich history of the facility itself, and the people that kept the longest running American manufacturing facility running for over 110 years, manufacturing the same product.

White Oak was an icon until its unfortunate closure by new ownership in 2016, but the name and spirit live on.
